Character: The Elusive Key to Leadership

Leadership as in tennis, character is the pivotal factor in determining a champion.

It is clear in tennis that character transcends skills.

What good is a powerful serve, if you can’t hold up under pressure?

Equally with leadership you can learn the theory, you can be trained in the skills, and then fold when you have to confront conflict.

Character cannot be taught – it must be developed from within.
