Coaching for emotionally intelligent leadership

Employees managed by leaders with high emotional intelligence are four times less likely to leave their company and the Global leadership development firm DDI rank empathy as the most important skill for leadership success.

This article looks at how leaders can untangle their own emotions in order to better influence and develop their team, and includes two case studies to demonstrate the impact of coaching.

In an increasingly disconnected world in which many of us are working from home, managing and influencing the emotional currents of a team is what separates great leaders from average ones.
