Als je mensen vraagt wat ze het meest motiveert in het werk, beginnen ze niet over hun leidinggevende of over de organisatie.

Ze praten over het werk zelf, over samenwerken met anderen, over interessante uitdagingen, over een doel bereiken, over jezelf kunnen ontplooien en over iets van betekenis toevoegen.

Als je mensen daarentegen vraagt wat ze het meest frustreert of wat er moet veranderen, worden management en organisatie veruit het meest genoemd…
