ACT for Coaches
ACT for Coaches is an 8-week course providing a thorough and approachable introduction to Acceptance and Commitment Therapy/Training.
The course is designed by a coach for coaches and is presented in a coach specific context to work within the professional and ethical limits we, as coaches, face.
By the end of the course you will understand the fundamental principles and concepts of ACT and will have learned how to apply the tools of this framework to yourself and your clients.
Since the tools are experiential, a vital part of the program is to practice these tools on yourself before implementing them with clients. There will be plenty of opportunity in class to practice the tools and there are weekly Home Practice Assignments to facilitate further practice, exploration, and integration of course concepts.
In addition, the course has a private group space for discussion, Q&A, and to arrange practice with other students outside of class (optional).
