The MMS Institute was founded in 1974 and the founder, Dr Cherie Carter-Scott is considered the, "Mother of Coaching" Her book, Transformational Life Coaching is one of the top coaching books in the world. In the almost 50 years since its inception, the MMS Institute has trained thousands of credentialed coaches and hundreds of corporations have used the coaching services offered by the institute and its coaches.

The mission remains is the same: to give people quality and thorough coaching training as they become their best selves and help others do the same.

Carla Morton

Carla Morton is a PCC level, ICF Credentialed Leadership and Executive Coach, and the Executive Director of The MMS Institute of Northern California, (along with her business partner, Lindsey Taylor) which offers ICF Accredited Coach Trainings and personal development workshops. She is also a credentialed Mentor Coach. Her specialty is to support business leaders and professionals through critical changes in their professional and personal lives, so they can thrive as fully integrated, take-charge rockstars.

Lindsey Taylor-Vivier

Lindsey Taylor-Vivier is the Managing Director of MMS Institute of Northern
California, a coach training organization.
Coaching is close to Lindsey’s heart because of the personal
transformation and healing she discovered through her own journey.
Lindsey works to empower women who are ready,
willing and motivated to make big changes in their lives.
She brings her compassionate advocacy to those experiencing a major life
transition or those who simply want a deeper relationship with themselves.

Level 2 Coach Training (Virtual) ACC to PCC- MMSNorcal

This Level 2 (live virtual) Coach Training will give you the 65 hours needed to go from ACC to PCC. We are meeting weekly on Wednesday evenings from 5 PM-8:15 PM PST and will also meet a FEW weekend mornings. Dates of the Training go from Saturday, January 7th-Sunday April 30th, 2023. This training includes skills development, personal development and plenty of mentor coaching and feedback. It also includes 6 feedback sessions (3 written) and 10 Mentor Coaching Hours.
