Virtual Reality Collaboration: A Revolution in Coaching? Experience Coaching in the Metaverse

The workshop is about introducing immersive technologies for remote coaching that go beyond traditional video platforms, such as MS Teams or Zoom.

We start the workshop with a check-in and an introductory presentation (30 min) that clarifies the term “metaverse” and offers insights into the current state-of-the-art hard- and software and the possible use cases. Moreover, we will discuss the benefits and potential risks of VR collaboration in the context of coaching, e.g. creation of emotions through the design of workspaces, the impact of using avatars or the possibly enhanced psychological safety.
