Social Justice in Coaching: Transforming Yourself & Your Practice Through Group Supervision

“Social Justice in Coaching: Transforming Yourself & Your Practice” is a seven-month learning experience. Unlike traditional training, our reflective-supervision program affords you and the members of your small group (typically six) a place to explore your work as coaches related to race, ethnicity, gender, or other social-identity differences. After an initial meeting where members meet one another and decide how you will work together, monthly sessions that follow provide time for one or two members of your group to share a case or issue that they would like to explore through a DEIJB lens. In a final session, the group distills what they are taking away from their work together. With support from your highly trained coaching supervisor, you can raise and resolve ethical dilemmas, work through personal barriers, and generate coaching moves and interventions for potential use with your clients. Complete the program with greater courage and confidence to coach in the domain of DEIJB.
