Holding the Mirror: Navigating Power and Privilege in DEIB Coaching

This experiential learning session supports ICF coaches working in DEIB to deepen their understanding of how power, identity, and systemic privilege influence coaching relationships and outcomes. Participants will explore how these dynamics show up in contracting, presence, decision-making, and moments of tension or silence within coaching conversations.

Through structured reflection and facilitated dialogue, coaches will strengthen self-awareness, expand their capacity to engage complex DEIB topics, and develop more ethical, inclusive coaching practices. The session emphasizes practical insight, reflective learning, and professional growth—equipping coaches to work more consciously with power and difference in service of their clients and the systems they operate within.
