Poems invite us to awaken the senses through memory, image and emotions. Each poem acts as a gateway, inviting readers or listeners to reflect on their physical, cognitive, and emotional responses, while deepening awareness of their feelings and the influence these have on their lives. Poems and creative writing offer a rare capacity to open reflective space without intrusion or prescription. This session will demonstrate the use of poetry when working with a client to explore Identity and Values . The session is an interactive growth group through which you will learn by doing.
