Creating Happiness & Aligned Action
Human beings are thinking machines. We are constantly analyzing and evaluating everything around us. We feel and act according to what we are thinking. Sometimes this creates a good experience, but often our negative thoughts have us feel bad, unhappy, or uninspired. What if we could think differently, which would have us feel and act differently. Well, the good news is that thoughts are, by definition, made up in our heads, and we can choose to think in ways that have us feel and act differently – to be happy.
But is the goal of life to simply be happy? If we really could master that, wouldn’t we just sit happily on the couch while the world and all the unhappy people spin around us? No. But how do we act in the world in a way that stays aligned to what we want, to who we really are?
In this workshop, we will explore how to create thoughts that inspire us instead of the usual, unhappy thoughts, and then to take action in the world in a way that aligns with our true selves.
