The Superpower of Synergy Coaching to Empower, Engage, and Embolden: Elevating Value Awareness through Practicum Applications

“Elevating Value Awareness through Practicum Applications” takes an experimental focus on the role and impact of value awareness. Being that “practice by doing” leads to 70% retention of new learning, an independent practicum assignment is included so that participants are able to gain additional experience through real-word engagement. Content focuses on a synergistic approach to clients surfacing inner values as they relate to making decisions, building relationships, and managing conflicts; and development of methods that lead to client insights and co-created outcomes. Participants will explore how an increase in value awareness by clients enable them to feel and act empowered, engaged, and emboldened. The training consists of 4 virtual modules (1.5 hours each) and a 4-hour independent practicum (mini-case study) and reinforces ICF competencies of coaching mindset, presence, listening, awareness, and growth. ICF approved for 10 CCE credits: 9.0 CC + 1.0 RD

Event schedule or other information/comments
The independent practicum incorporates elements of a case study approach, providing a format that particpants can use with their own case studies. Each participant will identify an experiment based on a question involving value awareness and its impact on client decision making, conflict management, and relationship building. The case study may involve one client and several values; one value and several clients; or variations thereof. Participants will share their results and learning by: (1) submitting a 3-5 page writeent report that describes the experiment; summarizes highlights and discoveries; makes connections with ICF competencies; reflects on the impacts to the client feeling empowered, energized, and emboldened; and (2) sharing verbally case study highlights with colleagues during the last training module. The intended results of this practicum assignment is to encourage coaches to implement new learning; share impacts on clients with colleagues; and make new connections.
