Free to Be Present: How Financial Autonomy Lets Coaches Coach Without Attachment

A coach free from money pressure can coach without attachment to the outcome, the renewal or the fee. Coaches give a great deal to others and often forget to give to themselves, and financial strain is one of the quietest ways that shows up.

This 30-minute session introduces the facilitator’s ASPIRE philosophy as it applies to coaches. ASPIRE builds on the SPIRE model of wellbeing (Spiritual, Physical, Intellectual, Relational, Emotional) and adds Autonomy at the base. Basic financial autonomy is not the goal of a good life. It is the foundation that frees a coach to care for the other five areas, and to sit with a client from a place of objectivity rather than need.
