APPLYING THE ETHICS OF COACHING THROUGH LOGICAL LEVELS
We will discuss and explore how ethics connects in a practical way, with all the levels of thinking (as defined by Robert Dilts) in which, as Coaches, we process our thoughts and thus act.
The subjects we’ll talk about are:
• The ICF Code of Ethics;
• Why it is a fundamental element of Coaching;
• ICF core values;
• The 4 areas it impacts: the client, the society, practice and performance, professionalism;
• The role it plays for the client and the role it plays for the coach;
• How we can find and enhance Ethics in each level of thinking.
Participants will take away a strengthened awareness of how ethics enhances their coaching, with examples and practical applications. They will have learned a method for periodically exploring how ethics is reflected in their levels of thinking and if necessary, how to align them for greater and better demonstration of ethical practice.
