Joanne Searle

Joanne supervises a diversity of coaches, both individually and in groups. Her strengths as a supervisor are her experience, her warmth, and her ability to create a reassuring, accepting space for coaches to explore and reflect on their interactions with clients, to review caseload and practice issues, and to support coaches in working ethically. She is experienced at working with groups and with processes. Joanne is accredited as an Individual Supervisor (ESIA) with EMCC. In 2010, Joanne completed an ICF Certified Coach Supervisor Training with Coach Development, UK.

Jo Birch

Well-known and respected in the international coaching supervision community, Jo brings three decades of experience across many settings. She specializes in global learning, providing coaching supervision training for over ten years in Asia Pacific, UK/Europe, and the US, pioneering simultaneous interpretation in supervision programs in English, Russian, and Chinese. Jo embraces the profound potential of supervision in better understanding ourselves and each other as we navigate the challenging complexities of our human lives together on this earth.

PoYee Dorrian

PoYee is a Master Certified Coach with ICF, an accredited coaching supervisor, and a faculty member with the Coaching Supervision Academy and the International Coach Academy. PoYee works globally as a coach and supervisor to serve clients and other coach practitioners, especially in the BIPOC and marginalized communities. She is passionate about inspiring and nurturing human connections through conversations. Her coaching and supervision practice is informed by her identity and lived experience, and she hopes to continue bridging the gap between othering and belonging.

John Koch

John’s passion is discovering new perspectives that inspire us to be ourselves for greater value. To this end, he partners with people and organizations in reflective dialogues focusing on leadership and teams, personal development, life-purpose, relationships, and cross-cultural collaboration. His coaching, systemic team coaching, coaching supervision, and ICF mentor coaching engaging with a trauma-informed lens are an expression of his life-journey of embracing the spiritual nature of humanity and journeying with people with authenticity and compassion.

Coaching Supervision Community of Practice – A Coach’s Learning and Development in Supervision

Join the ICF Coaching Supervision Community of Practice and Jo Birch, Jo Searle, PoYee Dorrian, MCC, and John Koch, PCC, on September 20, 2023, from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. EST (New York) for a robust exploration of a coach’s learning and development in supervision. Learn how to select a supervisor, how to utilize supervision, and how to discover more about your coaching practice and you as a coach. Four seasoned and experienced supervisors will share their wisdom in a lively and informative panel discussion.

This session is tentatively approved for 1 Continuing Coach Education (CCE) unit in Core Competencies and .5 units in Resource Development.
