2025 ICF Core Competency Updates – Empowering Coaches for a Changing World

ICF has refreshed its Core Competencies to reflect the evolving global coaching landscape. Based on a comprehensive global job analysis involving input from nearly 3,000 coaches, these updates ensure that the ICF Core Competencies remain relevant, inclusive, and up-to-date. This session will cover a description of the process used to develop the updates, a review of the updated Core Competencies, and an overview of how these updates will be incorporated into ICF Credentials and ICF Coach Education requirements.
