Cultural Competency in Coaching
This interactive online training explores cultural competency in coaching, guiding participants through key concepts such as cultural awareness, sensitivity, and proficiency. In an increasingly diverse world, effective coaching requires more than good intention, it also needs cultural awareness, sensitivity, and the ability to adapt across differences. This engaging online training is designed to build greater cultural competency in your coaching and personal practice. Using the six-stage framework of cultural competency as a foundation, the session combines interactive exercises, group scenarios, and personal reflection to:● Distinguish between cultural knowledge, awareness, and sensitivity
● Develop and demonstrate cultural proficiency in coaching conversations
● Understand and apply the six stages of cultural competency to real-world
scenarios
● Define intercultural communication and recognize its importance in inclusive coaching
Participants will explore their own cultural lens, learn to identify where they are on the competency continuum, and leave with practical tools to foster stronger, more respectful relationships with clients from all backgrounds
