Emotional Intelligence in coaching sessions
Emotional intelligence is present in every coaching conversation — in what clients express, what they avoid, and what we sense in the room (online or in person). In this session, we’ll explore how emotional intelligence strengthens coaching presence and helps us work skillfully with emotions — starting with self-awareness and self-regulation.
We will walk through the four key dimensions of emotional intelligence in coaching:
Self-awareness — the foundation of emotional intelligence
Self-regulation — the ability to manage your own emotions
Social awareness — recognising and understanding emotions in others
Relationship management — inspiring emotions in others
Participants will leave with clearer concepts and practical reflections they can apply immediately in coaching sessions—especially when emotions run high or the conversation becomes complex.
