Experience Coaching Supervision
In this session we will review the ICF Guidelines for Mentor Coaching and Coaching Supervision. What’s the difference? Benita will share her experience as a Mentor and as a Supervisor, why are they different? Do you need training to be a Mentor? To be a Supervisor?
The word Coaching Supervisor can be confusing for many, It automatically brings forth thoughts from a corporate setting of a Supervisor,. It is easiest to break it into two word, Super Vision, coaching supervision takes a helicopter view of your coaching practice. Where do you get frustrated? Where do you want to grow? Ever wonder why a certain type of client annoys you and you find it difficult to coach them? These are just a few examples of what a coach might explore in Super Vision.
One participant will have the opportunity to experience Coaching Supervision for 30 minutes. Like Coaching, the experience of being in a Super Vision session brings the understanding directly to you.
