Dr. Kathryn Burkgren is a highly experienced grounded coach with a calm, impactful style. With 30 years in leadership, strategy, and executive coaching at Cornell University and globally, she founded Placid Coaching, LLC. She partners with leaders to deepen self-awareness, align behaviors with values, and strengthen decision-making to advance well-being and effectiveness. Using a solutions-focused, emotionally intelligent approach, she helps clients identify one key shift to elevate their leadership. Kathy is an ICF PCC, certified executive and team coach, and holds a PhD from Cornell.

Radhika Nayak

With over 15 years across corporate, nonprofit, and higher education sectors, Radhika partners with leaders worldwide, including Fortune 100 organizations, to support growth and sustainable leadership. Her work spans coaching, supervision, mentoring, and facilitation. She is committed to unlocking potential and believes leadership is defined by influence, not title. Grounded in human resources and leadership development, she integrates systems thinking with a relational approach. As a Certified Individual and Group Coaching Supervisor, she creates reflective spaces for her clients.

Group Supervision Coaching Spring 2026 Cohort

If you’ve ever wanted to try the experience of group super-vision, now’s your chance!

ICF Upstate NY is teaming up with Dr. Kathryn Burkgren, PhD, PCC and Radhika Nayak, PCC to bring you two cohorts of group super-vision. Each cohort consists of four (4) 2-hour sessions spread over approximately four months, with one launching this spring and one in the fall. Up to 7 participants per cohort.

Kathryn and Radhika are donating their time to the chapter, and our goal is to make it very affordable for our members. The price for the entire four-session cohort will be just $65 in total to help cover our administrative costs.

Anyone who wants to participate will need to commit to all four sessions to support the cohesion of the group.

All sessions are 12:00PM – 2:00PM EST and on FRIDAYS

Claim up to 10 hours of supervision as Core Competency hours.
