ICF Ethics Community of Practice – Jazzing Up Both Sides of Expectations
Join the Ethics Community of Practice, Peter Reding and Teri-E Belf on July 20, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. EST (New York) for an exploration of expectations in coach training by using classical jazz as a metaphor to uncover how the dance of collaboration between provider, participant, and the space in between, invites and supports ethics. How do we track expectations throughout the coaching and educational learning journey? Expectations are woven into the fabric of ethics plus establishing and maintaining agreements. Raise the level of awareness that there are expectations on the part of Educators and Participants alike. Four ethical situations and best practices to avoid them will be discussed. Time will be devoted to both sharing experiences of the ethics of expectations as well as time for participants to discuss in small groups. Put on your learning cap for this event!
