Introduction to Conflict Engagement

Credits: Core Competencies 2.0

Most of us have been in meetings where things go in circles, or where the real conversation becomes the elephant in the room, and our usual facilitation or decision-making approaches stop working. This workshop is for coaches and leaders who want to meaningfully support groups in saying what needs to be said, and hearing what needs to be heard, during those harder moments. If you have friendships, family or community relationships where conflict shows up, this session is also for you!

Introduction to Conflict Engagement offers a dynamic and reflective space to explore how to hold conflict and difference in generative ways. Drawing on the principles of Deep Democracy, this session introduces a simple yet profound approach to working with charged group dynamics, decision-making, and conflict, building on your existing approaches to one-on-one, small-group, and large-group coaching.

This session is designed to help you work with stuck or polarized issues
