Active listening is more than hearing words. It means tuning into the client’s emotions, energy, pauses, and the meaning behind what is not being said. When a coach listens actively, they are fully present with the client’s experience. They notice subtle shifts and reflect back what truly matters, creating a space where clients feel seen, understood, and safe to explore themselves more deeply.
