Navigating Complexity in Team Coaching: Why Supervision Matters | Supervision as a Professional Resource for Quality, Ethics, and Impact
Team coaching takes place in highly complex systems shaped by relationships, roles, power dynamics, and organisational context. While self-reflection is a fundamental competence for team coaches, it has natural limits. At a certain point, blind spots, role entanglements, and systemic dynamics can no longer be sufficiently addressed alone.
This session introduces supervision as a professional reflective space specifically for team coaches. We will explore how supervision supports clarity of role, professional stance, ethical decision-making, and conscious use of self in team coaching processes. The workshop also addresses typical tensions and dilemmas in team coaching and explains why supervision is a mandatory element within the ICF ACTC credentialing framework.
The session combines a concise input with a strong focus on Q&A and dialogue, allowing participants to bring in their own questions and practical challenges from team coaching and training contexts.
