Navigating Ethical Dilemmas in Team Coaching

Team coaching presents ethical challenges that often feel more complex than those found in one-to-one coaching, shaped by multiple stakeholders, power dynamics, and organizational contexts.

Many team coaches navigate these dilemmas largely on their own, with limited visibility into how others in the field are experiencing and responding to similar ethical dilemmas. This session offers a grounded view of the real ethical challenges team coaches are encountering today, alongside a practical framework—the MAP Ethical Decision-Making Model—to support ethical responses when situations feel unclear.

You will have the opportunity to apply the MAP model to a real-world team coaching case, engaging in rich small-group discussion and hearing multiple perspectives from fellow coaches. In the end, you will leave with a concrete, usable tool and a clearer way of thinking about ethics in your team coaching practice.
