Special Event- The Learning and Practice of Adlerian Coaching
In this three hour workshop, we will introduce coaches to Alfred Adler and illustrate why Adler is the “Grand-Father of Coaching”; by drawing parallels between the pillars of his theories and many of today’s coaching and psychology’s currents and movements. Participants will explore Adler’s Individual Psychology, and understands how and why it relates and matters to coaching. Participants will also explore the grey zone between coaching and therapy and possibly reconsider some preconceived ideas about the differences and similarities between the professions.
In this highly interactive workshop, participants will practice at least 5 different Adlerian Coaching Tools/Exercises, which will allow them to “feel” the experience of Adlerian Coaching.
Learning Objectives:
Participants will be able to
– Describe who Alfred Adler was and what Adlerian Coaching is
– Use a number of new Adlerian coaching exercises and tools with their clients (at least 5)
– Better understand coaching
