The Talent Iceberg

The Talent Iceberg is an interactive, scenario-based coaching professional development webinar that explores what
lies beneath visible performance, competence, and success. Using the iceberg as a central metaphor, the session
takes participants below the surface to examine the natural talents, beliefs, self-doubt, perfectionism, imposter
experiences, and other hidden factors that influence how talent is recognized and expressed.
Through realistic coaching scenarios, live choices, reflection, and peer coaching, participants will explore how easily
talent can be overlooked or discounted, even by the person who possesses it. The session also examines how a
strength can become a limitation when it is overused, and how the right context can either suppress or amplify an
individual’s potential.
Participants will practice moving beyond reassurance and advice toward deeper curiosity, active listening, and
questions that evoke awareness.
