Coaching Emotional and Psychological Safety

Emotional and Psychological Safety play an important factor in every person’s successful relationships whether they are personal, work related, family, friends, volunteer or other groups we and our clients are involved in.

We all need it. We really can’t do without it. But do we know what it is?

In this 6 CCE core competency course we examine the definitions and roots of emotional and psychological safety, how we create this for our clients in accordance with the ICF core competencies and how we can work with them to create it for themselves in multiple contexts.

Each module builds upon the previous and requires each person to personally ask and answer questions for active learning and application of the materials with their clients and themselves.

Within this course, improve your mastery of the ICF Core Competencies:

1. Demonstrates Ethical Practice

2. Embodies a Coaching Mindset

3. Establishes and Maintains Agreements

4. Cultivates Trust and Safety

5. Maintains Presence

6. Listens Actively

7. Evokes Awareness

8. Facilitates Client Growth
