Mind-Body Skills Group for Coaches
Mind-body skills groups are educational, supportive groups that offer participants an opportunity to learn self-care strategies and experience evidence-based techniques to enhance health and well-being.
In this group, participants will learn and practice experiential and integrative mind-body techniques, including meditation, guided imagery, autogenic training, breath work, awareness through movement, and mindful eating in a supportive environment that nourishes self-awareness and enhances active listening skills. Participants share and connect with each other, creating a positive learning environment that supports individual and collective well-being.
This group series is expanded upon the work of Dr. James Gordon, the founder of the Center for Mind-Body Medicine, who is renowned for his use of self-awareness, self-care, and group support for healing.
This course is approved for 14 CE credits by the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC) and 17 CCE credits by ICF.
