The Center for the Advancement of Well-Being (CWB) is located at George Mason University, serving university populations and external audiences. Our senior scholars and scientists are engaged in research that deepens our understanding of the science of well-being and evidence-based practices. CWB offerings include programs and resources for students, faculty, and staff along with executive education programs for organizations, agencies, and individuals.

Ellen Fulton

The LCOWB program is taught by a variety of ICF-certified coaches with varied backgrounds and led by Ellen Fulton, MCC. Ellen has worked with thousands of leaders across five continents and multiple industries. She challenges clients to do their inner work since success is directly proportional to self-awareness. As Associate Faculty at GMU’s Center for the Advancement of Well-Being and Managing Principal of the Washington Coaching Group, Ellen leads several coach education offerings including LCOWB, the Masterful Coaching Course practicum, and Conversations2Mastery.

OPEN HOUSE – Level 2 Leadership Coaching for Organizational Well-Being Certificate Program

Join our virtual open house where you can learn more about our Level 2 program and connect with our faculty.

The Leadership Coaching for Organizational Well-Being executive certificate program will equip you to make positive change in your team and organizational culture. The LCOWB certificate is an ICF accredited Level 2 coaching education program where participants prepare to become either a ACC or PCC credentialed coach. This experiential program has a research-based curriculum that aligns with the ICF requirements and coaching competencies while emphasizing strengths-based approaches and methodologies. Our transformative practices deepen self-awareness, develop coaching presence, and facilitate organizational well-being. Application deadline for this cohort is Friday, August 14, 2026. Classes meet Wednesday through Friday once per month between September 23, 2026 and January 15, 2027.This cohort will be offered in a fully virtual format with live instruction.
