The Words We Choose, Live Language Lab
Language shapes every coaching conversation more than we realize. In this live Language Lab, we slow down and examine the words coaches choose, noticing how subtle shifts in phrasing can open or close a client’s awareness, deepen or dilute trust, and either invite ownership or unintentionally direct the conversation. We’ll explore real coaching language like: the difference between open and closed questions, reflective versus evaluative phrasing, and how tone and framing shape psychological safety in session. This is experiential, not lecture-based so expect discussion, live examples, and moments to notice your own default language patterns. You’ll leave with sharper awareness of how your words land and practical adjustments you can use in your very next coaching conversation. This session is part of Words We Choose, Core CCE program on the language of coaching, and offers a monthly touchpoint with a master coach who has mastered the awareness of the deep impact of language.
If you choose to request a coach specific training hourn (CCE) for the session you attend, you can do so afterward for a $30 fee.
