Coaching tools to build resilience in young people.
This workshop identifies three tools that I actively use in my sessions to facilitate teenagers and adults to discover their bank of resilience. They have been carefully curated to apply concepts related to Appreciative Inquiry coaching and Positive psychology coaching. The first tool addresses the separation of thoughts and emotions, to apply focus on the real facts of the event and what has been learned from the outcome. A second tool is shifting the mindset by finding silver linings from events and looking for opportunities. Finally, a tool called the Fist Of Five- enables the coachee to identify those relationships that are enablers of positive change in their life.
