Ethics in Coaching: Should we talk about suicide?

This virtual and interactive webinar is an opportunity for those in attendance to consider exploratory questions in the context of ICF Code of Ethics and what are the possibilities for the coaching profession to recognize the boundary between coaching and mental health care.

How do we navigate the space between them. We are well trained in supporting our clients to explore their experiences more deeply, but few of us might know how to recognize or respond to a client having thoughts of suicide. What would be most ethical? Is referral to another profession the best response?
