Poems invite us to awaken the senses through memory, image and emotions. Each poem acts as a gateway, inviting readers or listeners to reflect on their physical, cognitive, and emotional responses, while deepening awareness of their feelings and the influence these have on their lives. Poems and creative writing offer a rare capacity to open reflective space without intrusion or prescription. This session will explore the use of poetry when working with a client to find clarity, direction or purpose. The session is an interactive growth group through which you will learn by doing.
