Melissa Castro

Melissa Castro, MA, ACC is a Leadership Coach, consultant, and author from the U.S, but newly based in Costa Rica, working with clients across the United States and beyond. She founded Intrinsic Lead in 2022 on the belief that good coaching changes people, and people change everything. As a former ICF chapter leader and volunteer, she's hosting this café because she genuinely loves this profession and the humans in it, and is pumped to celebrate the coach community during ICW!

Lorna Taylor

Lorna Taylor is the Content & Community Lead at Millennial Life Coaches (MLC), where she leads podcast hosting, virtual events, and live community experiences for a growing membership of online coaches. With a knack for creating warm, high-energy spaces that people actually want to show up to, Lorna has hosted MLC's first multi-day virtual summit, runs weekly podcast episodes, and keeps the community connected through regular Coffee Chats and events. She brings both strategic thinking and hands-on delivery to everything she does.

International Coaches Café — A Community Gathering for International Coaching Week

Grab your favorite treat or beverage and pull up a chair! This one’s especially for the next generation of coaching.

To kick off International Coaching Week, join hosts Melissa Castro (Intrinsic Lead) and Lorna Taylor (Millennial Life Coaches Community) for a lively, conversation-driven Coaches Café built with millennial and young professional coaches in mind — and open to anyone who loves this profession.

Whether you’re building your practice, freshly certified, mid-career and pivoting into coaching, or just someone who believes in what great coaching can do — come as you are.

We’ll connect across regions and niches, learn from each other, and take a real moment to celebrate the work we do and the people we do it for.

Event schedule or other information/comments

We'll open with a welcome and International Coaching Week framing, then move into facilitated discussion around three themes: coaching business development, what our clients are teaching us, and how coaching shows up meaningfully in the communities we serve. We'll close with connection, shared takeaways, and a little celebration of the work.
