James Farrell is a certified coach (PCC AEAC) and Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) who aims to do good things for people and nature. At The Natural Coaching Company he helps leaders in transition - and individuals facing mental health challenges or navigating neurodivergent lives - reconnect with themselves, their purpose and the planet. His integrated approach blends executive development and ecological knowledge with therapeutic compassion. James mentors coaches, leads accredited Nature Based Coach training, and speaks and writes on subjects including ADHD Coaching and nature connection.

Anna-Marie Watson

Anna-Marie Watson is a coach, collaborator, author and podcaster with over 25 years’ international experience crafting a dynamic portfolio career. A former British Army Officer and elite endurance athlete, she brings deep expertise across defence, logistics, operational performance and leadership development. Anna-Marie is a recognised thought-leader in the outdoor and nature coaching world.

Emma Thorp

Emma Thorp is the founder of Thorp Coaching, an executive coaching and leadership development practice based in the Ashdown Forest.
She works with senior leaders and teams in complex, high-pressure organisations, helping them step out of survival mode and think more clearly, lead more effectively, and work in more human ways. Her work blends real-world leadership experience with accredited coaching (ICF and EMCC). Much of her coaching takes place outdoors, where she works in connection with the landscape to support regulation, perspective, and more sustainable leadership.

In this future, coaching is making a difference beyond our clients and contributing to making the wider world a better place.

Join us as Emma Thorp hosts a conversation with James Farrell and Anna-Marie Watson to explore how we can make this shift. We will explore what is emerging in this professional space, some of the evidence that points to why this work is so necessary, and James and Anna-Marie’s personal experiences and stories.

You will have the opportunity to contribute your thoughts too, so that together we can gather a deeper understanding of how we all might make the shift into what ecologist Joanna Macy called ’the essential adventure of our time’.

Attendees will also receive and invitation to the new ICF Special Interest Group in Nature, Climate and Outdoor Coaching.
