The Human behind the Coach – How Great Coaches Transform Themselves First
Artful coaching is not about doing more or better, nor about more or slicker techniques. It is about being more human: moving from thinking about skillset and toolset to lifeset and mindset.
Once you have technical skill in coaching, the next step is being more courageous, tolerating not knowing, stopping trying to win, being vulnerable and more, Drawing from what we are learning about being human alongside the ICF Core Competencies, one of us will do a live coaching demonstration and we will share some simple tweaks that will make transformation more likely to happen in those you coach.
The main objectives defined for this meeting are:
– how to be a more artful coach
– how courage and not knowing are at the heart of great coaching
– by watching an MCC coach
