What Your Brain Knows That You Don’t. Why Some Conversations Change People and Others are Forgotten the Next Day.

Have you ever had a conversation where someone truly “got it”—and then nothing changed? You’re not alone. International Coaching Federation research shows coaching skills boost engagement, yet many insights get lost between understanding and action.

Neuroscience explains why. Under pressure, the prefrontal cortex disengages and the brain shifts into survival mode, creating the intention–action gap. It’s not a flaw—it’s how the brain works.

This workshop explores what happens between “I understand” and “I did it,” and how to close that gap in meaningful conversations.

Learning Objectives:

– Understand and recognize the intention-action gap.
– Use coaching skills more intentionally.
– Apply simple tools to turn insight into action.
