Anatomy of a Coach Fit Call
As an external coach, it’s likely that chemistry calls will be necessary. Also known as coach fit calls, these are introductory meetings where the prospective coachee sizes up the coach to determine if there’s a good fit between them. This is a bit of a nerve-wracking experience for newer coaches because they know if the meeting doesn’t go well, they’ll likely not get the engagement. If too many of them don’t go well, then it’s going to be a rough road to developing a thriving independent coaching practice. In this session, you’ll learn ways to approach these meetings with greater confidence knowing about the two types of coachees you are likely to encounter and what to do to align with their interests. You’ll also learn about ways to make these meetings go better even before they occur. Coach fit calls can go well when you are informed and prepared.
