INSIGHT: A New Framework for a Coaching Session

Most coaching models give you a sequence: set a goal, explore reality, generate options, commit to action. Neat. Linear. And often not how real coaching conversations move.

Real sessions circle back. They go deeper before they go forward. The client says something that reshapes the whole conversation, and the model most coaches follow has no room for it.

The INSIGHT Model was built for this. A framework that moves the way coaching actually moves — structured enough to hold the conversation, and fluid enough to follow where the client needs to go.

In this session, we will walk through the INSIGHT model, the function of each stage, and the flow from agenda to meaning-making to action as our clients go deeper in each session and throughout the client engagement.

Taught within TFI’s Level 1 Coach Certification and aligned to ICF Core Competencies, INSIGHT gives coaches something most models don’t: permission to be structured while attending to the emergent with intention and attention.
