Living in the Paradox: Polarity as a Coaching and Leadership Lens
This session connects ICF coaching competencies with Polarity Management as a practical leadership tool for navigating complexity. Participants will learn to distinguish between problems to solve and polarities to manage, using polarity mapping as a concrete framework for coaching conversations, team dynamics, and leadership decision-making. The work strengthens key coaching skills such as evoking awareness, maintaining presence, listening for deeper patterns, and supporting clients to hold competing truths without rushing into either/or solutions. At the same time, Polarity Management offers coaches and leaders a practical lens for balancing stability and change, structure and flexibility, and short-term results with long-term development.
