ICF Career Coaching Community of Practice – Coaching, Career Development & Mental Health
Join the Career Coaching Community of Practice, Dave Redekopp and Michael Huston on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, from 7 – 8:30 p.m. (New York). As a coach, part of your role also involves career development. Helping others become more self-aware and resourceful enables them to identify and take advantage of opportunities to improve their “lives, relationships, and business performance.” In this regard, it is worth exploring how career development work bolsters clients’ mental health. Join us to discover the five sets of effects your coaching processes create and the mental health outcomes associated with each set. Additionally, consider the “golden thread” that weaves through all coaching work–stress control–and its impact on mental health. Finally, learn about a transparent 3-pronged approach to helping clients regain control of stress.
*This session has been tentatively approved for 1 Continuing Coach Education (CCE) unit in Core Competencies and 0.5 CCE units in Resource Development.
